FAQ

  • What days do you close during the year?
We are open year-round, closing only for statutory holidays and our school scheduled winter break.
  • Do children have to be toilet trained to attend?
Yes, our staff will support this training as children show signs of readiness and when families express a desire to begin the process at home.
  • Do you supply food?
Unfortunately, due to the wide range of allergies among children, we do not provide daily meals or snacks. Families are responsible for supplying all snacks, lunches, and drinks for their child. To make this easier, we offer ample storage space at the centre so that a reasonable amount of food can be left on-site, reducing the need to bring items each day. On special occasions or during group cooking activities, snacks may be shared with the utmost care to ensure that all known allergies are strictly avoided.
  • Is there a discount for more than one child from the same family?
We offer a 5% discount on the total amount for siblings from the same family.
  • Do we have to pay for vacation days?
All fees are billed on a monthly basis. If you choose to take one or two weeks of vacation, the monthly fee is still required to secure your child’s spot during your absence. Families may take up to two weeks of vacation per calendar year without forfeiting their space, provided fees are kept up to date.
  • Does my child have to nap?
While napping is not required, all children participate in a daily rest period to recharge from the busy pace of the day. The length of nap time is determined once your child has adjusted to the program, with input and guidance from parents.
  • Do we need to bring an emergancy outfit to the center for our child?
Yes, we ask that you provide an extra set of clothing for your child to keep at the centre. This emergency outfit is important in case of accidents, spills, or if your child’s clothes become dirty or wet during the day. Please place the clothing in a labeled, sealed bag with your child’s name on it, and ensure the items are seasonally appropriate and regularly updated as your child grows.
